Workflow Widget Filters
Each workflow queue can be assigned with filter criteria to get a focused view of the data. The users can set the filter criteria as temporary (reset to default on screen load/logout) or pinned (persistent on screen load/logout).
The filter drop-down on the workflow widget has options to apply a temporary filter or pin the filter making it persistent even on screen load. The filter has the following options:
-
Set Filter: The user can use this option to set a filter temporarily on its respective widget. Temporary filters are represented in black color on top of the workflow widget. Once the filter is set, the user can pin this filter to make it persistent. The set filter criteria can be edited by choosing this option.
-
Pin Filter: Once a filter has been configured, the user can use the Pin filter option to make the filter persistent even on screen load. Pinned filters are stored in the database and are represented in the red color font on top of the workflow widget.
-
Run Pinned Filter: This option will remove any existing temporary filter and run the applied pinned filter. This option can also be used to reapply a pinned filter criteria to the widget if no other filter has been applied.
-
Unpin Filter: This option is used to unpin an existing pinned filter. This action will remove the pinned filter data from the database and change it from red color to black color on top of the workflow widget.
-
Clear Filter: This option will remove any temporary or pinned filter. The unfiltered data of the widget will be displayed.
Note: If there is no record of a pinned filter in the database for a widget, then this option will have no effect on the widget data.
Note: This option will not remove the pinned filter data from the database. The pinned filter will be reapplied once the user refreshed the screen or navigate back to the page.
